Long before mankind carved the names of gods into clay, before Sumer whispered of An, Enlil, Enki, and the Anunnaki, those beings had another name.
They were the Ones.
Their Homeworld is the Wandering Star: an orphaned iron planet hurled from the corpse of a supernova, a realm without night, forever illuminated by its own Eternal Glow.
For eons, the Ones endured beneath the immutable Order of Things, divided into a rigid caste of ens who command and igs who obey.
Then Ninna, Royal Consort to Anh, the One in Command, gives birth to twins.
Their birth is meant to secure the Order.
Instead, it shatters it.
As ancient laws tremble, buried hatreds awaken, and destiny turns against those who believed themselves immortal, the Homeworld is forced onto a new course across the Galaxy—toward a mysterious yellow star called Sul.
Book I, The Wandering Star, chronicles the forgotten prehistory of the Ones, revealing the origins of the beings mankind would one day remember as the Anunnaki. It sets the stage for Book II, The Crossing, in which their fateful encounter with Earth strands them on an alien world and ultimately leads to the creation of mankind.
